The Health Professions Department includes the Health Professions Certificate and Degree Programs, the Health Science Academy in Plano, and Dual Credit Health Science courses.

Now Accepting Applications for Spring 2025. We are now offering Phlebotomy at the Farmersville campus for Spring 2025. Location and Course availability is subject to minimum student enrollment. EKG Technician and Patient Care Technician (PCT) programs begin every Fall semester.

Students may pursue academic awards (AAS, Level 1 Certificate, and Institutional Credentials Leading to Licensure or Certification (ICLC) in any of the Health Professions tracks. The awards are stackable, and many courses are available online, so students may choose to start with an ICLC and continue to their AAS.
